Wednesday, February 5th -  Mel called to check on me but didn't talk long because of my coughing.  She text later.
Bishop Toone called to check on me and left a message asking if it would be okay for the Bishopric to come by for a visit, I didn't get the message soon enough to respond, so he text.  Asked how I was doing.  I told him RS was coming to visit tonight.  He asked me to let him know if I need anything.  Feeling so loved!
Kathy called to check on me
Text from my brother, Jim
FB from Rita.
Text from Debbie, re: their trip plans & Oscar @ resort, flew to AZ, text later that they arrived safely.

RS Presidency came to visit (six of them) tonight.  I was overwhelmed with their love and support.  They brought a gift (black, fluffy blanket & signed cards from sister in RS), and a frozen dinner.  We had such a fun time. They were all so kind and generous with their compliments.  Lots of laughing, encouragement, and even some tears.  They were furious that I had to do a "buy-out" with the apartment complex.  A couple of feisty ones said they are going to the Aldara Office and tell them how awful they think it is that someone in my situation would not be released from the lease contract without the "buy-out".  They were so outraged that it amused me.  Good medicine to know they care so much!

Thursday, February 6th - OMGosh!  Valerie fell down the steps here and broke her wrist.  It's bad and she will need surgery next week!  Thank goodness Mel will be coming to help.
Will left today to drive back to NC.
A package from Theresa came in the mail. My favorite Old Fashioned Pecan Pies and Blue Monday candy bars!  What a sweetheart!  I know this must be so hard for her.  I hate what this cancer is doing to the ones I love.
Melanie text a pic of Ryenne's hair bow.  Literally a bow made from her hair.  Beautiful!

Text from Suzanne cking on me
Text from sister Kathy. She had heard about Val's fall and wanted to check on her..  She told me she also had a bad fall last week at a restaurant - no breaks, but bruised both knees and upper legs badly. We laughed, in a sick sort of amusement, at the fact that so many family members are in casts for various reasons.

Friday, February 7th - fb from Rita
