Tuesday, February 11th - Melanie and Addi flew in today, to visit and help out. Suzanne picked them up from the airport. So happy to see them!

I decided that with so many here, it would be a good time
to have a "haircutting party". After dinner was cleaned up, I sat in a chair in Tiffany's kitchen and let Brooklyn, Kendall, Gracie, Aisy, Addie (my granddaughters), Rick, Tiffany, Valerie, & Melanie, take whacks at my hair! Most of the grandkids really got into it but Aisy held back. She was pretty sure she didn't want to have anything to do with cutting someone's hair, least of all, Grammy's!!! Once the party got started, though, she took her whack at it too! We didn't cut it too short because first, I had to get use to the idea of having short hair, and second, I didn't want to traumatize the kiddos! It was fun and we laughed about an otherwise unpleasant experience. It didn't matter to me what it ended up looking like, I'm gonna lose it all anyway. But Melanie insisted on styling it and, in the end, it actually looked pretty decent.
Kathy called today, very excited that Stephen has a job interview with someone at a Urology Office in SLC. Fingers crossed and prayers ascending!
Today, I also got texts from Kathy H. and Rita. It has been a great day!
