Thursday, February 13th - Valerie had surgery on left wrist. Tiff stayed with her all morning and most of afternoon. Mel (and Addi) came over early from Steve's house to help out. So glad she was able to come this week. Mel is such a "mother hen". I enjoyed having her "all to myself".
The surgeon said Valerie's surgery went well. She was a bit dazed when she got home and now the pain meds are starting to wear off. She is pretty miserable.
Got a fun surprise box in the mail today! My friend, Marie Simpson, whom I worked with at Daughtrey Elementary, sent me a pair of Snoopy Valentine Socks!
With so much going on, I forgot to call Terry Ellis and wish him a Happy Birthday. :0(
