Grammy's Journey

• Friday, February 14th - Happy Valentine's Day!  We all awakened to the fragrance of Roses this morning!  Rick really outdid himself!  I'm afraid his heart overtook his good sense…with all the heartache, misery, and illness going on around here, he splurged on ALL of us!  I walked into the kitchen this morning to find vases of flowers everywhere!  Not only did he buy an arrangement of roses and lilies for Tiffany, but he also spoiled Valerie and me each with our own dozen roses.  In addition, as always, he bought his own daughters three roses each, plus Aislynne.  If that wasn't enough, he also bought all of us our own box of Russell Stover Chocolates, including Collier, Austin, and Braden!  The kitchen was covered in roses.  So much so, that I leaned over to Tiffany and whispered, "Did I die last night?"  lol!  They were beautiful and made us feel so loved. Just for today, we could forget the unpleasantness that confronts us.

Addi, Ryenne, and Jackson enjoying their Valentines from Jeff & Melanie.

Jeff, Ryenne, and Jackson arrived late in the afternoon.  Jeff pulled a muscle in his back during their trip.  Was able to get in to see a chiropractor. He was still hurting bad all night.  What the heck is going on?  Tiff and Jeff are practically immobile because of muscle injuries, Val has only one good arm because of a broken wrist, and then there's me...

Steve & Suzanne were invited over and brought ice cream and root beer for floats.  We also had chocolate fondue for dessert'.
