Jeff, Melanie, Jackson, & Ryenne
time to say good-bye.
Monday, February 17th - No school today - President's Day!  Mel, Jeff, & family left this morning.  Did better than I thought I would, saying good-bye.  Only cried a little, though I always  do when saying good-bye to my family.  Always so good to be with them, but hard to let go.  Typical for my little Addi, she wouldn't give me a kiss good-bye.  She gets sad, then almost stubborn, refusing to give me a kiss or hug.  She puts on this armor and acts somewhat indifferent to our parting, but because I know her so well,  I know that's just how she deals with good-byes.  It makes it hard for me, but in a way, it's kind of tender and I've come to expect it.

Addi having NO part of saying
good-bye to Grammy!

About an hour later, Kelsi, my hairdresser, came all the way to Tiff's house from American Fork to cut my hair.  It was her day off and she had told Tiff that she would like to cut my hair, as a favor, without charge.  She was her amazing cheerful self and asked how short  I wanted it. I told her to "buzz it", but I don't think she had the heart to.  She did a very cute little pixie cut, leaving it very short in the back and sides, but still long and thick on top.  (see pics with Kelsi)  The cut is adorable but my neck grew six inches!  lol  Tiff and I both offered to pay her, she wouldn't accept.

Tiff, Rick, Val & kids went to the park.  House is very quiet. My ears and neck are suddenly feeling cold!
