Will, Val and the kids got in safe last night. So good to see those grandkids again. The plan right now is for Val and the kids to stay here at Tiff's and Rick's with us, and Will drives back to NC tomorrow.
Kathy text that she is thinking about the Walzes being here and all of us being together. She is wanting to be here so bad. She said she is ready to just pile everyone into the car and come, never mind if the house doesn't sell! lol! Poor baby!
Got a call from Shanon, my RS president, (from my Riverside Ward). She wanted to know if some of the Presidency could come visit me on Wednesday evening and bring a frozen dinner and gift. Our Presidency is so friendly and fun and it meant a lot to me that they wanted to come so far out of their way to visit me (at Tiffany's house rather than my apartment). Last week I got a phone call from Bishop Toone from my ward. He had heard from the RS president that I had Cancer, and wanted me to know that he was concerned and thinking about me and to let me know that the Bishopric/RS would help with anything I needed. He said such nice things about me and had such encouraging words for me. I have been impressed with his spirituality and concerns for his ward members ever since my first day at church in my new Ward. (He had given a presentation on how women are so special to the Lord and how we should be so proud of who we are). Feeling loved. :0)
Debbie text to check in with us and to give us information about when and where to send flowers for Constance's funeral. She said Zach was doing better and preparing for his talk. I get sick to my stomach every time I think about what he is going through.
Tonight my Home Teacher called to check on me again, and I got another sweet FB message from Rita.
